I have driven emergency vehicles from cars, HGV vehicles to large fire appliances. I retired from the fire service and became a driving instructor because I wanted a career with real job satisfaction and the feeling of helping someone pass their driving test and by remaining a "Safe Driver for Life".

i have 30 years experience as a fire officer in fire brigade, i decided to become a driving instructor when I retired from the fire service after seeing hundreds of road traffic collisions and their consequences, during my career. so if you are just wanting to pass your driving test quickly i am not the one for you.

I try teach safe driving for life and instill this ethos into all my clients. this can be born out by my pass rate which is calculated year on year and most my clients pass first time.

I chose to work using the client centred learning methodology because everybody is different. This allows more flexibility with the pupils driving lesson to enable them to learn to drive safely and at a pace that suits them.

My aim is to make each driving lesson as relaxing and enjoyable as possible and this is aided by the pupil helping to decide how they want to be taught and what subjects they feel they need to practice more using client centred learning. "Contact me"...
